Theme: God’s Plan for Salvation
This is our last week on the theme “God’s Plan for Salvation.” The last thee weeks we covered foundational verses from Romans (part of the “Romans Road”). This week we close out this theme with possibly the most well-known verse in the Bible: John 3:16.
John 3:16 captures the key aspects of God’s plan for salvation in just one sentence. He loves us so much that, even though we are sinners not worthy of being with Him, He still sent His Son Jesus as a sacrifice to save us. Anyone who believes Jesus died for our sins and accepts His gift of salvation will live forever with Him. It may seem hard to believe, but it really is that simple.
We’re now over a quarter of the way through our 52 Week Challenge. If you’d like to practice memorizing and reciting the verses we’ve covered so far, check out our 2019 Challenge Verse Practice Page. Next week we start a new series called “Trusting God’s Plan.”
