This is our 4th week on this theme. Review previous posts on this topic here: In Whom Do You Trust?, Straight Paths, Lift Your Eyes
Week 23 (Psalms 121:1) ended with a question: “where does my help come from?” Psalms 121:2 answers: “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” In difficult times or times we just need some encouragement, we often turn to friends, family, hobbies or favorite activities for help and comfort. These sources of support are wonderful blessings from our God, but they’re not the ultimate source of the support we need. As we mentioned last week, Psalm 121:1-2 is a great reminder to lift our eyes above the people and things of this earth and look to our God in Heaven for our help. He created the very universe we live in and all that it contains. He can provide all of the help we could ever need.
